The Integrated Biophysics and Structural Biology Platform (PIBBS), hosted within the CBS (Center for Structural Biochemistry), is made up of 8 facilities dedicated to integrative structural biology. PIBBS is affiliated to the Montpellier BioCampus UMS and has the IBiSA platform label. In addition, the facilities are integrated into the national infrastructures of FRISBI structural biology, FBI advanced imaging, and ChemBioFrance.

The specificity and the strong point of the PIBBS platform are to bring together in a single structure methods of structural biology (NMR, RX, ME, Bio / chemo-informatics) and advanced techniques of biophysics (AFM and advanced optical microscopies in fluorescence).

 

Access to the instruments goes through the platform staff, either through paid services or through collaborations, which may give rise to submissions of a joint project to funding organizations.
