The facility of Biophysical characterization has obtained a funding from the the I-Site Programm of excellence of the Montpellier university to buy an equipment for dynamic and static light scattering characterization of bio-samples. The machine should come to service in 2024.
Thanks to the I-Site Programm of excellence of the Montpellier university, the “Biophysical Characterization” facility of PIBBS, run by Albane Le Maire and Frederic Allemand, has acquired a new equipment for dynamic and static light scattering characterization of bio-samples. The machine, a DynaPro NanoStar II (Wyatt) can accommodate sample as little as 2-30 μL (depending on the analysis) and is already in service.
